Sabah International Expo (SIE)
The Sabah International Expo (SIE) is Sabah’s Premier Trade Fair and a Sabah State Government jointly organised biennial event held in the beautiful City of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. It is a MATRADE endorsed event that is listed in the MATRADE website with the reference number of ME032(13/07)23.
SIE2023 will be the 10th SIE since its inception. It is jointly organised by the State Government of Sabah, the Federation of Sabah Indusries (FSI) and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) Sabah Branch. SIE has become one of the largest and most successful trade events in the Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines – East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA).
The main objective of SIE is to provide a platform for exhibitors from near and far to meet; to establish business contacts; to showcase latest products and services from the BIMP-EAGA specifically and ASEAN broadly.
SIE2023 aims to attract commercial and economic interest to Sabah. Sabah’s abundant natural resources and proximity to the region’s economic powerhouse (China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia); and the strength of an almost 70 million customer market in the BIMP-EAGA makes it an excellent and ideal trading hub in the South East Asia region.
SIE will showcase investment opportunities in Sabah’s tourism, agriculture, green technology, oil & gas, real estate, food & beverages and manufacturing sectors, providing trade and business matching opportunities for SME’s on a regional and international level.

Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk
The Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk (SIBLT) is a pre-expo program organised in conjunction with the SIE. The SIBLT’s objectives are to enable SIE participants and other individual or business entities to engage in development and business opportunities both in Sabah and in the neighbouring region and provide unparalleled networking opportunities.
The SIBLT2023 is scheduled to be held on 21 September 2023, targeting to welcome 500 delegates at the luncheon talk venue.
SIBLT2023’s format would feature two distinguished key speakers presenting their views on regional development and key economic issues in the region over a luncheon and to be followed by a Q&A Session. A prominent moderator will be invited to facilitate the Q&A Session.
The Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk (SIBLT) delegates will include cabinet Ministers, ambassadors and high commissioners, captains of industries, diplomatic corps, policy makers, investors and entrepreneurs.
