Federation of Sabah Industries (FSI)
The Federation of Sabah Industries (formerly known as FSM) was founded in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 1983. Today, FSI has more than 200 ordinary and associate members involved in plastics, food, beverages, building materials, wood, steel, hardware, electrical and electronics industries throughout Sabah.
FSI is committed to help local manufacturers in general, and the small and medium industries in particular, to export their products overseas, particularly to the neighbouring countries in the BIMP-EAGA region by becoming involved in business matching and overseas trade missions. FSI strives to provide quality service to the members and assist them to grow through collective efforts.
Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) Sabah Branch
The Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) is an established and progressive organization representing the majority of international corporations currently operating in Malaysia. It aims to promote, protect and advance free enterprise and in particular the interests of the international investment community at present and potentially involved in trade, commerce and industry in Malaysia.
The MICCI maintains a constant evaluation of the Malaysian business climate and enjoys an excellent dialogue status with the Government. It presently has more than 900 corporate members. The Sabah Branch of the MICCI was formed in 1994 and now services 80 members in the 'Land below the Wind'.
